Description

Agoro Road is the author's cozy road game: travelers and their caravan cross a road at dusk, and the player places stamps that turn goats, guinea fowl and donkeys back home, never harmed. Every traveler, animal and stamp in the game, and the caravan, is a Tripo model.

This entry is the physical side of that world. The author printed the same Tripo models on their own FDM printer in one-color PLA: the covered caravan, the goat, the guinea fowl, the donkey, the drum stamp and the travelers. The photos show real prints on the author's table; the only edit is a gentle color grade (exposure, white balance, contrast), and the magenta is the filament itself.

The author wants a child in West Africa, or anywhere, to be able to build their own playable world and then hold its characters in their hands. Going from digital to physical is the step that makes a game world feel real and owned. The same model files run in the browser game, in the Unreal build on an Android tablet and on the printer.

These are prototype prints, single-color and unpainted, with visible layer lines and small print artifacts, and the game itself is a prototype, not a release. Work on the game began on August 26, 2026, and the traveler models were made on September 13, before the event; the first figurines were printed from September 14 on. The group prints and all of the photos were made during the event, the photos on October 6. The GLB models the game uses include three travelers, three animals, four stamps and the caravan, plus the keeper woman, made through the Tripo API on October 6 and not printed yet.

How Tripo was used

Tripo made every model that was printed: one Tripo model, three places.

  • Travelers: made with Tripo P2.0 using Smart Mesh and Auto Rig.
  • Animals, stamps and caravan: the goat, guinea fowl and donkey, the four stamps and the caravan were generated with Tripo P2 from the author's concept plates.
  • The keeper woman: made through the Tripo API on October 6 (v3.1 mesh, retopology, rig-v1.0 biped), not printed yet.
  • One model, three places: the same files drive the browser game, the Unreal build and the printer.
