Download Description
The world of microbio is a drop of water hanging in the dark. A transparent container wall encloses a spherical pool with no ground: irregular rocks grow inward from the walls, curving caves hide between them, and the water swirls slowly, carrying organic debris, algae filaments, DNA fragments, spores and suspended soil particles.
You are a newly formed single cell, a translucent membrane wrapped around a nucleus, mitochondria and vacuoles, with a flagellum beating behind you. Larger amoebas, paramecia, rotifers, bacteriophages and tardigrades patrol around you. They hunt by sight, remember where they last saw you, and back off and turn when they bump into things.
You start as a single cell. Gather enough biomass to grow new parts, bud and divide, and link your cells into a colony with cytoplasmic bridges. Predators can bite through a bridge; the cut-off cell drifts away, and once a cooldown ends it can swim back and reconnect. When danger comes, slip behind a rock or into a cave: predators give up the chase a few seconds after losing sight of you. Easy mode (more food, weaker predators) keeps things relaxed, hard mode brings the full survival pressure, and you can switch at any time.
It is a gift for whichever players it is lucky enough to meet, especially anyone curious about the microscopic world: children, students, or anyone who remembers seeing tiny specks swimming in a drop of water under a microscope for the first time. It is also for anyone who wants to see what one person plus AI can build. The game is made in Godot; the models were generated by calling the Tripo API, and all other assets and code were generated by the deepseek-v4.1-flash model.
