Description

Pear Garden Fragments is a Chinese-style puzzle adventure set in a fantasy world of Peking opera stages, where the real and the imagined intertwine. Scattered fragments of opera masks link together a century of Peking opera history. Players set out on a dreamlike journey across the stage, unlocking masks, singing styles and classic plays as they explore and solve puzzles, and getting a feel for the unique charm of this intangible cultural heritage.

The author made it for everyone who loves Peking opera, and for young people who love traditional culture and are curious about Chinese art, hoping they can touch the beauty of the opera world through play and add a new chapter to passing on this heritage.

The game was built with TapTap Maker, with AI tools quickly generating its scenes, characters and props: World Labs built the large environments of the opera garden and old stage, including the base terrain of traditional Chinese buildings and the layout of the stage space; HeyGears produced the base Peking opera characters and their face bases; and Tripo generated stage props, opera accessories and carved mask assets. Together, they replaced the blockouts of large scenes, base character modeling and hand modeling of props.

How Tripo was used

Tripo was used to quickly generate stage props, Peking opera accessories and carved mask assets, replacing the long process of traditional hand modeling. The base opera characters and large scenes came from HeyGears and World Labs.
