Description

READY is a 2:05 music video about building a fantasy world during a game jam. It is a gift for first-time game creators with a world in their heads: a reminder that a character, a place and a story can begin with a few references and the courage to start.

The world brings together a knight, a dragon, a tavern and fantasy props. Tripo generated these 3D assets from multiview references, an image, a sketch and text prompts, and its outputs include textured models, quad meshes, auto-rigged characters, retargeted animation and segmented parts. A custom JavaScript/Three.js pipeline renders the assets as layered ink and halftones, giving the film its print-style look, alongside generated footage and music.

A companion website lets viewers explore the assets themselves: rotate the models, compare polygon budgets, play the rigged motion and separate the parts. Together, the film and the interactive showcase offer both a finished creative work and a closer look at the assets behind its world.

How Tripo was used

Tripo generated the knight, the dragon, the tavern and the props that both the film and its companion site are built around.

  • Inputs: multiview references, a sketch, an image and text prompts.
  • Outputs: textured models, quad meshes, 41- and 24-joint auto-rigs, retargeted motion and segmented parts.
  • In the work: the assets feed a custom JavaScript/Three.js pipeline that renders them as layered ink and halftones; the companion site lets viewers inspect textures, topology, motion and parts, with a polygon-budget comparison for the knight and a segmentation demo for the tavern.
