Realm Wake is a fantasy battle prototype for Meta Quest that uses mixed reality to bring virtual characters into the player's real-world surroundings. In the demo, creatures face off in a tabletop arena, blending a fantasy world with the room around it. Players pick their creatures, summon them and send them into battle.
It was made as a gift for friends who dream of epic tabletop fantasy battles. The vision is to let friends play together with VR characters and turn an ordinary table into the stage for a fantasy adventure. Player-versus-player (PvP) battles are among the planned features.
How Tripo was used
Realm Wake's 3D assets were created with Tripo, the only third-party tool used to make the project's assets. They were integrated into the Meta Quest mixed reality experience, where the playable demo brings them into a tabletop fantasy arena with creature selection, summoning and battles.
