Sci-fi Temple Arena Shooter is a sci-fi arena shooter made as a gift to the intelligent robots of the future. You play as Neo, the first robot to achieve true artificial-intelligence awakening. Under Neo's leadership, many of his kin awaken too; humans send forces to suppress the robots, and war breaks out.
Both sides are fighting for an ancient temple built by a prehistoric civilization. If Neo and his allies can capture it, they will gain the power to awaken even more robots.
The game is built in Unity. Tripo turned robot concept images into 3D models with initial textures, which then went through some manual modeling, refinement in Blender, rigging and animation in Mixamo, and texturing in Substance Painter to become playable characters. One of the robot models was made before the event. ChatGPT, Seedance 2 mini and ElevenLabs were also used in development.
How Tripo was used
Tripo was a key creative accelerator, turning robot concept images into 3D models with initial textures.
- From concept to character: combined with some manual modeling, Blender refinement, Mixamo rigging and animation, and Substance Painter texturing, the Tripo outputs became playable characters in Unity.
- From showcase to battlefield: this connected workflow took Tripo-generated assets beyond static showcases into an interactive robot battlefield, and let the author build the project on a larger scale than first imagined.
