Zombie Crisis: Dead Loop is a 3D zombie survival shooter with an isometric camera, and a gift to the gaming afternoons of childhood. The author wanted to recreate that simple, direct kind of fun: pick up a gun and fight your way out of the horde; find a new weapon and can't wait to see what it can do; go down, and still want one more run. It is for everyone who once spent whole afternoons on little computer games after school and, now grown up, still wants to save one round for themselves.
You travel through abandoned neighborhoods, logistics warehouses, a quarantined medical center and other corners of the apocalypse. The game keeps a stage-by-stage campaign, but every map opens into connected spaces to explore: follow the mission route and clear out the infected, or take a detour for supplies, shops and extra rewards, weighing what you could gain against the risks.
Combat covers firearms and melee gear: rifles, shotguns, rocket launchers and flamethrowers, along with machetes, fire axes and chainsaws. Each level-up lets you pick a new perk, gradually shaping your own fighting style. Elites and bosses each have their own skills, so you need to read their warning signs, move to dodge and seize the moment to strike back. Toggleable aim assist and save-and-continue let you play at your own pace.
Built in Godot, it plays in the browser. Every 3D model was generated with Tripo: GPT concept art first, then Tripo image-to-3D with PBR textures and auto-rigging, then into Godot.
How Tripo was used
Every 3D model in Dead Loop was generated with Tripo.
- What was generated: 6 heroes, 5 zombie types, 6 elites and bosses, 15 weapons, and the props furnishing enterable buildings.
- Pipeline: GPT concept art, then Tripo image-to-3D with PBR textures and auto-rigging, then into Godot.
