Download Description
Alien Tide builds a gentle, quiet stretch of alien coastline where no one will bother you. It is a habitable planet with no intelligent civilization and very little risk: clear, gradient starry skies, softly rolling waves, dawn and dusk that shift with the time of day, and a rich variety of fantastical alien sea creatures. There are no urgent quests, no mandatory targets and no crowds, only the endless sea, a quiet base, the sea breeze and the tides. It is a planet made purely for unwinding.
You play a lone astronaut who fishes freely amid the alien scenery, collects the catch, cooks and lives self-sufficiently. There is no racing and no levels to beat; just follow the tides and your mood, explore slowly and live quietly, enjoying a gentle interstellar retirement in an undisturbed corner of an alien world.
The game is for everyone worn out by fast-paced life, endless competition and rules that box them in; for players who are used to solitude, love quiet, and want to slip away from everyday pressure for a while and have some time cut off from the world; and for every office worker who loves a bit of slacking off, which Chinese slang calls touching fish.
It was made with the Godot engine and Blender, with help from Codex and GPT.
How Tripo was used
Every 3D asset in the game was generated with Tripo, combined with rigging, part splitting, retopology and 8K textures; the team then built the whole game in the Godot engine, working with Codex and GPT.
