Description

DONACK: DEADLOCK is a browser action game for desktop and phone. A lone repair unit, Donack, wakes in a cold-storage pod beneath a silent colony and follows a distress signal into an underground world of machines still obeying old orders. Explore districts, activate terminals and face bosses with guards, dodges and carefully timed attacks.

The world is a gift to players curious about what generative AI games can be: a playable example of turning generated assets into a game instead of leaving them as isolated models. Its terrain modules, movable shutters, residents, set pieces and enemies were generated with Tripo and optimized for the web. Tripo also supplies Donack's rig and motion in the opening, while his in-game mesh and textures come from the author's own 3D-print data. The background music was made with Suno, the English narration with a locally run Qwen3-TTS and the Japanese narration with Irodori-TTS.

The playable demo also includes a guided tutorial prologue and extra set pieces. Menus and the opening are in English; some HUD text, prologue dialogue and coach cards are still in Japanese.

The entry expands the author's earlier Donack game code and draws on existing Donack character, design and story material, including the 3D-print data. New during the event: the open-world browser version with Tripo-generated characters and environments, a seven-shot real-time opening, rigged motion, English opening narration and UI, and the guided tutorial prologue.

How Tripo was used

Tripo generated the underground world's environments, residents and enemies, all optimized for the web.

  • World and characters: modular terrain, movable shutters, residents, set pieces and enemies, made with Tripo's H3.1/v3.1 models; some of the H3.1 models and reference images were generated through Higgsfield.
  • Donack's opening: Tripo Auto Rig supplies Donack's rig and motion in the opening, while his in-game mesh and textures come from the author's own 3D-print data.
