Try it live Description
Elena: A World for the Kid I Was is an interactive memory atlas made as a gift to the author's younger self. You guide Elena, an original fantasy adventurer generated with Tripo, through four symbolic places: The Quiet Room (shelter), The Lantern Forest (curiosity), The Small Observatory (wonder) and The Unwritten City (agency). Each place you visit changes the atlas, and completing all four unlocks a final message.
The experience is deliberately compact and plays in the browser: explore, open each memory and watch the map evolve from isolation into possibility. Tripo is part of the project's visual origin rather than a decorative afterthought: Elena was created in Tripo (H3.1, 4K PBR), and the author built the surrounding interface, narrative structure and interaction solo.
The world is meant to feel quiet, hopeful and personal. It is not an escape from reality, but a small place that says shelter, curiosity, wonder and agency can be built one step at a time.
How Tripo was used
Tripo is the project's visual seed and the source of its protagonist.
- Elena: an original fantasy adventurer the author generated in Tripo from their own prompt (H3.1, 4K PBR).
- Her role: she was then integrated into a hand-built HTML/CSS/JavaScript memory atlas where four interactive places change state and unlock a final message. Tripo provides the character anchor; the interaction, narrative structure, UI and state logic form the experience around her.
