Manifold World Manual sets out to be a new kind of product manual, replacing the traditional paper booklet with 3D interaction. Real-world appliances and furniture are recreated 1:1 on your phone, where you can try every interaction the product offers.
It pairs the products' 3D models with an AI customer-service agent to rethink after-sales support. Instead of contacting customer service, you ask the in-app AI guide, and the device automatically demonstrates the answer in 3D space.
The author made it as a gift for everyone who has bought a piece of hardware without knowing how to use it and still struggled after asking customer service again and again: everyone who has ever been baffled by a manual.
How Tripo was used
Tripo plays a central role in the work: the products' 3D models were generated with Tripo and work together with the AI customer-service agent to create a new after-sales experience for hardware.
