Description
Worldseed is a short, playable 3D gift for someone you care about, especially someone who needs a place to return to. Name a recipient, then choose a wish: Comfort, Courage or Wonder.
In the Mechanical Theatre, turn three interactive wheels until their symbols line up and a doorway opens. Beyond it lies the Cliffside Book City: cross a suspended path of books, collect three lost pages and reach the far gate. The ending gives you a personalized keepsake image and a link to share.
Both worlds began as original concept art, made with OpenAI image generation, and were turned into detailed 3D scene sculptures with Tripo. The lighting, wheel puzzle, avatar and book-bridge traversal, collectibles, transitions and gift flow were built by the author in Three.js. The whole piece runs as a web experience in the browser.
How Tripo was used
Tripo is the core 3D production engine of Worldseed.
- Two playable worlds: the author used the Tripo v3.1 image-to-model API to turn two original concept images into the Mechanical Theatre and the Cliffside Book City, two 3D scene sculptures with detailed textures and PBR materials.
- The backbone of each world: these sculptures define both playable worlds. The author then optimized them for the web and built the lighting, wheel puzzle, book-bridge traversal, collectibles, transitions and personalized gift flow around them in Three.js.
- About the demo: it uses curated Tripo-generated assets and does not generate a new model for each visitor.
