Relaxs

A small 3D universe for micro-breaks, built around three planets: play a while with hoops, a bike race and memory cards; be still with breathing or a reef dive; or let it out by wrecking a room and slicing oranges.

Description

Relaxs is a gift for anyone who needs a little break: a small 3D universe that lets you set your own pace, with no questionnaire before you play. It is a personal project by two creators, built around three rotating planets.

Each planet has its own mood:

  • Play a while: shoot hoops as a visible 3D player, move around the court, judge direction and power, and face moving hoops later in the challenge. Ride a 1.8 km mountain course against five AI rivals, with bends, obstacles, side bumps, falls and a finish-line ranking. Or try memory puzzles with cards rendered from the game's actual 3D assets.
  • Be still a while: follow gentle breathing rhythms, or explore a fictional tropical reef. Swim freely, watch turtles, a manta ray, a dolphin and tropical fish, photograph discovery targets and keep your pictures. There is no oxygen countdown.
  • Let it out: explore three destruction workshops, a furnished room, a building demolition puzzle and a crusher. Tap expressive monsters with special target rules, or slice real orange meshes with sealed cut surfaces and timing-based chain bonuses.

The interface is deliberately simple. The games offer adjustable challenge, while breathing and diving stay unhurried. Three.js drives rendering, lighting, motion, collisions and game rules, and audio is synthesized locally with Web Audio. Assets ship with the game, so players need no API key and trigger no paid generation. The playable interface is in Chinese. This is a leisure experience, not a psychological test or treatment.

Relaxs grew out of an earlier web prototype that explored breathing rhythms, text-based relaxation, simple memory matching and basketball experiments. This submission develops it into three planet-based spaces with complete navigation and fully playable experiences. The Tripo-generated assets and rigged characters, third-person basketball, cycling race, reef photography, room destruction, building demolition, crusher, whack-a-monster and slicing are all new.

How Tripo was used

Tripo is part of the gameplay, not just the presentation: the game uses 19 Tripo-generated designs across 20 runtime GLB asset entries.

  • Playable characters: the basketball and riding characters were auto-rigged with Tripo and become athletes you control.
  • Interactive objects: Tripo's meshes, UVs and PBR materials become interactive furniture, cuttable oranges and reef wildlife.
  • One set of assets, many uses: the same models power the character-selection previews and the memory cards.
  • Workflow: Tripo generation and auto-rigging feed into asset optimization, then Three.js rendering, motion and collision logic. Assets ship with the game, so players need no API key and trigger no paid generation.
