Task Query

# Task Query **Base URL:** `https://openapi.tripo3d.com/v3` **Endpoint:** `GET /tasks/{task_id}` Query the status and output of a single async task by its task ID. All generation and processing endpoints return a task_id that can be used here. ## Request Parameters ### task_id - **Type:** string - **Required:** Required The task identifier returned when the task was created. Pass it unchanged as a path parameter. ## Response Fields ### task_id - **Type:** string - **Required:** Required Unique task identifier. ### type - **Type:** string - **Required:** Required Task type (e.g., text_to_model, animate_rig, convert_model). ### status - **Type:** string - **Required:** Required Common task statuses. - `queued` — waiting in queue. - `running` — processing in progress. - `success` — completed successfully. - `failed` — failed with error. - `cancelled` — cancelled by user. Internally banned or expired tasks are usually represented as `failed`. If a legacy response returns `banned` or `expired`, treat either as terminal. Other values, such as `unknown`, may occur: use a bounded wait and investigate if the status persists; do not assume it is successful or terminal. When provided, check `error_code` and `error_message` for the failure reason. ### progress - **Type:** integer - **Required:** Required 0–100. ### error_code - **Type:** integer - **Required:** Optional Present when status=failed. Standardized error code indicating the failure reason. ### error_message - **Type:** string - **Required:** Optional Present when status=failed and error_code is available. Human-readable description of the error. ### output - **Type:** object - **Required:** Optional Only populated when `status=success`. Contains `model_url`, `rendered_image_url`, etc. Import Model and model post-processing tasks (rig, texture, convert, etc.) whose model input is a `file_token` or URL also return `normalize_scale` (number): the uniform scale factor applied when the imported model was normalized, `normalized size = original size × normalize_scale`; `1.0` means not scaled, though the model may still have been translated. When the import pipeline provides it, they also return `normalize_translation` (`[tx, ty, tz]`): the translation vector applied during normalization, `normalized coordinate = original coordinate × normalize_scale + normalize_translation`. ### credits_consumed - **Type:** number - **Required:** Optional Credits consumed.
